మహావీర విక్రమ బజరంగీ |
కుమతి నివార సుమతి కే సంగీ ||3 ||

lankeshvara bhae saba jaga jānā || 17 ||
తుమ్హరో మంత్ర విభీషణ మానా |
లంకేశ్వర భయే సబ జగ జానా || 17 ||
[Tmharo=your; mantra=words; Vibheeshan=brother of Raavan who fought on
Rama's side; Maana=accepted; Lankeshvara=King of Lanka; Saba=all;

"Vibheeshana accepted your Suggestion. He became the king of Lanka

līlyo tāhi madhura phala jānū || 18 ||
యుగ సహస్ర యోజన పర భానూ |
లీల్యో తాహి మధుర ఫల జానూ || 18 ||
[Yuga=year; Sahasra=thousand; Yojana=distance of 10-15km, 8 mile is the most
agreed upon distance; para=away; Bhanu=sun; Madhura=sweet; Phala=fruit;

"You flew towards the sun who is thousands of years of Yojanas away,
thinking of him as a sweet fruit"
jaladhi lānghi gaye acharaja nāhī || 19 ||
ప్రభు ముద్రికా మేలి ముఖ మాహీ |
జలధి లాంఘి గయే అచరజ నాహీ || 19 ||

sugama anugraha tumhare tete || 20 ||
దుర్గమ కాజ జగత కే జేతే |
సుగమ అనుగ్రహ తుమ్హరే తేతే || 20 ||
[Durgama=difficult; Kaja=task; Jagata=word; Ke=of; Jete=how many;
Sugama=easy; Anugraha=grace; Tumhare=your; tete=if there is]
"All the difficult tasks in the world, become easy if there is your grace"
hota na āgyā binu paisāre || 21 ||
రామ దుఆరే తుమ రఖవారే |
హోత న ఆజ్ఞా బిను పైసారే || 21 ||

సబ సుఖ లహై తుమ్హారీ శరణా |
తుమ రక్షక కాహూ కో డర నా || 22 ||

"All happiness stay with those who take refuge in you. You are the

తీనో~ం లోక హాంక తే కాంపై ‖ 23 ‖

"Only you can cancel your powers.

"Rama is the king of all, he is the king of yogis. You managed all his tasks"
or in other translation "He whoever takes refuge in Rama you will manage all
their tasks"
Soi amita jīvana phala pāvai || 28 ||
ఔర మనోరధ జో కోయి లావై |
తాసు అమిత జీవన ఫల పావై ‖ 28 ‖
[aur=many, more; Manoratha=mental wishes, desires; jo koi=whoever;
Lavai=brings; amita=infinite; jivana=life; phala=fruits; pavai=get, receive]
"Whoever brings many of their wishes to you, they will get unlimited fruits"
hai parasiddha jagata ujiyārā || 29 ||
చారో యుగ పరితాప తుమ్హారా |
హై పరసిద్ధ జగత ఉజియారా ‖ 29 ‖

"Your glory is for all the four yugas, Your greatness is very famous

asura nikandana rāma dulāre || 30 ||
సాధు సంత కే తుమ రఖవారే |
అసుర నికందన రామ దులారే ‖ 30 ‖
[Sadhu=good people, monks, simple people; Santa=saint; ke=of; tuma=you;

"You are the guardian of Saints and Good people. You killed demons and

జన్మ జన్మ కే దుఖ బిసరావై ‖ 33 ‖

"Singing your name gets us Rama himself and Removes the sufferings of

తుమ్హరే భజన రామకో పావై |
జన్మ జన్మ కే దుఖ బిసరావై ‖ 33 ‖

హనుమత సేయి సర్వ సుఖ కరయీ ‖ 35 ‖

"Not contemplating on other gods, gets his all happiness from Hanuman by

jo sumirai hanumata balabīrā || 36 ||
సంకట కటై మిటై సబ పీరా |
జో సుమిరై హనుమత బల వీరా ‖ 36 ‖
[Sankata=trouble; katai=cut short; Mitai=removed; Saba=all; Peera=pains,
troubles; Jo=who; Sumirai=remembers; Bala=power; Bira=brave]
"Pains will be removed, all afflictions will be gone of who remembers
Hanuman the mighty brave one"
kripā karahu gurudeva kī nāī || 37 ||
జై జై జై హనుమాన గోసాయీ |
కృపా కరో గురుదేవ కీ నాయీ ‖ 37 ‖

removed; bandi=shackles, bondage; Mahasukha=great happiness, bliss;

"He whoever recits this hundred times, his chains of Bondage will be cut,
Great happiness will be his"
hoya siddhi sākhī gaurīsā || 39 ||
జో యహ పడై హనుమాన చాలీసా |
హోయ సిద్ధి సాఖీ గౌరీశా ‖ 39 ‖
[Jo=who; yaha=this; Padhai=reads; Chalisa=40 lined hymn; Hoya=happens;

"He whoever reads these verses on Hanuman, he will get spiritual
